What personal data we collect
1. Forms
When you submit a question through our Contact Form we collect your first name, last name and your email address so that we can correspond with you. When you subscribe to our newsletter we collect your email address so that we can correspond with you. Your personal data will not be stored in the website’s database but it will be stored in MailChimp, the application we use to send our newsletters and campaign.
2. eCommerce
We are an eCommerce website and therefore we collect transaction data, including details about payments to and from you and details about products and services you have purchased from us. This includes name, address, email address, and credit card information.
Cookies
A cookie is a small amount of information that is downloaded to your computer or device when you visit our Site. Cookies make your browsing experience better by allowing the website to remember your actions and preferences. The following cookies are collected and used when shopping on our site.
woocommerce_cart_hash
The WooCommerce Cart Hash cookie contains information about the shopping cart. It memorizes what you added to your cart. Also, it helps our site know when the cart data changes.
woocommerce_items_in_cart
The WooCommerce Item in cart cookie has the same value as the WooCommerce Cart Hash. Both of them keep the cart information and allows you to properly use the cart feature. Without them, you would not be able to add multiple products to your cart or make any changes.
wp_woocommerce_session_
This cookie contains a unique code for each customer. The WooCommerce session cookie knows where to find the cart data in the database for each customer.
In addition, we use Google Analytics to track visitor behavior and traffic on this site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this data, but it is anonymous and no identifying personal about our visitors information is stored. In order to be compliant with the new regulation Google included a data processing amendment. The data we collect will be processed anonymously and “Data sharing” is disabled.
We don’t use other Google services in combination with Google Analytics cookies.

We don’t sell, lend, or otherwise share any of your information unnecessarily with anyone, and we take your privacy very seriously.
When you purchase a product on brittanylynnefitness.com, your personal data are shared with well known payment companies to process your order – specifically, PayPal and Stripe (if you pay via Credit Card). You can check their privacy policies: PayPal and Stripe. As mentioned earlier in this policy, if you sign up for our newsletter, your email is stored in MailChimp. Their privacy policy is here. Otherwise, we never sell or share your personal information with anyone and we take your privacy as seriously as we take ours.
Security
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all generally accepted industry security standards.
